All things are not always equal Many studies have shown that omega-3 fatty acids can improve health and prevent heart disease. For example, sufficient omega-3 fatty acids in our diet can cause, in general, benefits the heart, lowering triglycerides and improving brain function. I think that most doctors would agree that the best way to Omega-3 fatty acids in our diet is to eat fish rich in fatty acids, twice per week. Some of the best sources are mackerel, tuna and salmon, are becoming increasingly popular. But I? M so that most of us have read that there are news about farmed salmon verses freshwater salmon. Then there are the reports about the high mercury in tuna and other fish, which are among the best sources of omega-3 fatty acids. With all this conflicting information, what do we do?
